IIMCAA Scholarships

IIMC Alumni Association began IIMCAA Scholarships of 25000 INR each to IIMC students in collaboration with the alumni and well-wishers in 2019. Former DG- IIMC & IIMCAA Patron, Mr. KG Suresh, had called for such scholarships at the Annual Alumni Meet- Connections 2018. 

 

In 2019, 11 scholarships were given to the students. The scholarships have been initiated for a period of five years and a review will be undertaken in 2023 to assess if the supporters wish to continue for the next five years. Alumni and well-wishers may come forward and start more such scholarship in the memory of their loved ones.

Rules and criteria of IIMCAA Scholarships

1. IIMC Alumni Association will award IIMCAA Scholarships to students who have applied for fee waiver/ scholarship to IIMC only. IIMCAA will take list of applicants and relevant documents of students in need from IIMC only. Students are not required to contact IIMCAA in any manner for scholarships.
2. IIMCAA Scholarships will be given to students who have not availed any scholarship/ fee waiver from IIMC.
3. IIMCAA Scholarships will be given to students with minimum 75% attendance at IIMC.
4. IIMCAA Scholarships will be given to students with minimum 50% aggregate marks in first semester and having passed in all papers at IIMC.
5. IIMCAA Scholarships will be given to students not facing any disciplinary actions at IIMC.
6. IIMCAA Scholarships will be given to students at Annual Alumni Meet- Connections every year but if first semester exam results are not declared before that, it will be declared 15 days after IIMC scholarship list are out.
7. IIMC Alumni Association will form a 5 Member Committee to evaluate the applications submitted at IIMC to select the beneficiaries. 
8. IIMC Alumni Association may take help of chapters/ alumni in independent assessment of any/ all applications to ascertain to whom it should provide financial assitance.
9. IIMC Alumni Association may call/ interview applicants to should provide financial assitance.
10. List of beneficiaries will be published in Annual Souvenir and at IIMCAA Website & social media handles with amount and photograph.
11. IIMC Alumni Association reserves the right to award scholarships to anyone/ none based on above criteria. It may change/ modify any/ all rules above.
