The Associated Press is seeking video journalists for our online video and international newsfeed services. We are looking for people who know how to tell visual stories, have good news judgment and hate to be second.

Video journalists will work in the field as one-man bands, requiring shooting, writing, producing and editing experience. You will voice packages and radio spots.

In-house video and web producers should have strong writing, producing and editing skills. Final Cut Pro and web skills a plus.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have solid experience in all aspects of broadcasting. Applicants should have demonstrated skills in digitally editing video or audio and broadcast copy and writing broadcast copy, voicing reports, doing live air work and doing street reporting.

He or she should have professional voice and air delivery, combining authoritative sound with a conversational tone, and should have solid knowledge of world affairs.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of online news, must be able to meet tight deadlines and react quickly to breaking news. The successful candidate must be able to work all shifts, including overnights, and all days of the week, including weekends.

This role is based in London.
