CC MoM – 50% Membership Fees Goes to IIMCAA Care Fund | New Timeline for IIMCAA Awards 2027
The Central Committee met at IIMC HQ, New Delhi on 5th July 2026. Executive President Mr. Prabhash Jha presided over the meeting, which was attended by Vice Presidents Mr. Animesh Biswas, Ms. Sneha Bhattacharjee and Ms. Sadhna Arya, General Secretary Mr. Atul Gupta, Secretary Ms. Khushi Sharma, Treasurer Ms. Deeksha Saksena, Executive Members Mr. Prabhat Pandey, Mr. Shankar Pandit, Ms. Tanima Ray and Mr. Rupesh Kumar. Former President Ms. Simrat Gulati, IIMCAA Creative Head Ms. Puja Mishra, Mr. Ritesh Verma and Mr. Soyeb Akthar Molla also participated in the meeting. It discussed various issues and unanimously decided the following items.
1. Donation to IIMCAA Care Fund
The Central Committee decided to donate 50% of the membership fees it receives to the IIMCAA Care Fund. A minimum annual donation of ₹2 Lakh must be ensured to the IIMCAA Care Fund. IIMCAA will transfer ₹2 Lakh to the IIMCAA Care Fund for Alumni Memberships between 1st March and 31st July 2026.
2. Connections 2026 Review
The meeting discussed various issues that occurred during the Annual Meet- Connections 2026 at PSOI Club in New Delhi. Members debated a range of topics, including invitations, venue, food, gifts, rundown, and creatives. It identified areas of improvement, which will be implemented next year.
3. IIMCAA Awards 2026 Review
CC has decided to advance the opening and closing dates for entries. Entries will start on 1st December 2026 and close on 20th December 2026. Applicants should submit news/campaigns done between 1st January 2026 and 30th November 2026 for the IIMCAA Awards 2027.
The committee decided to drop the categories for PR, Ad and Digital Agencies going forward.
4. All Hands Meet 2026
The Central Committee will host the Annual General Meeting (AGM) – All Hands Meet – on either September 19th or 20th, 2026. The Governing Council and The Central Committee will prepare the agenda in due course.
5. Bank Signatories
The Central Committee has decided to replace Ms. Simrat Gulati as a signatory with Mr. Atul Gupta. Other two signatories overseeing bank operations are Vice President Mr. Animesh Biswas and Treasurer Ms. Deeksha Saksena.
6. Connections 2.0 Dharamshala 2026
The Central Committee approved an expenditure plan of up to ₹2 Lakh to organise Connections 2.0 Dharamshala 2026.
