IIMCAA CC Meeting 1 June 2025

CC MoM – IIMCAA Elections on 16th August, AGM on 21st September, Awards 2026 Entry Opens on 1st November

Dear IIMCians,

The Central Committee met at IIMC HQ, New Delhi on 1st June, 2025. IIMCAA President Ms. Simrat Gulati presided over the meeting that was attended by Former Presidents Mr. Kalyan Ranjan, Mr. Prasad Sanyal, General Secretary Ms. Deeksha Saksena, Secretary Ms. Sneha Bhattacharjee, CC Member Mr. Ritesh Verma, Ms. Vani Shukla, Md. Ijaj Khan, Former Treasurer Mr. Badri Nath, Former Secretaries Mr. Atul Gupta, Mr. Komal Badodekar and Ms. Khushi Sharma. Following decisions have been taken at the CC meeting.

Minutes of the Meeting:- 

1. Review of Connections 2025- CC expressed satisfaction for organising 15 meets so far this year, more meets than 2024. It has decided to keep the Connections 2025 open and explore the possibilities of a few more meets, if feasible, before declaring it a close.

2. Review of IIMCAA Awards 2025– CC expressed satisfaction over improvement in number and quality of entries that IIMCAA received this year after opening all the categories for non-alumni. It has decided to open the entries on 1st November and stop accepting entries on 5th January 2026.

3. IIMCAA Elections 2025– CC has finalised a tentative schedule for biennial IIMCAA Elections. It will appoint an Election Commissioner and an Election Officer in due course who will share other details to conduct free and fair elections.

IIMCAA Elections 2025 – Important Dates

– Publication of Final Voters List- 31st July 2025

– Notification for the Election- 4th August 2025

– Nomination Begins- 4th August 2025

– Nomination Closes- 10th August 2025

– Scrutiny of nominations- 11th August 2025 

– Voting- 16th August 2025 

– Results- 17th August 2025

4. IIMCAA AGM– CC has decided to host the Annual General Meeting- All Hands Meet- on 21st September 2025. Agenda will be communicated in due course.

5. IIMCAA’s National Convention– Maharashtra Chapter has proposed to start a National Convention that should be open for all alumni on self-funding basis. It has proposed Goa as the first city to organise the national conference and every year a new city can be chosen for such meets.

CC has accepted the proposal in principle and decided to organise the first national conference in Goa from 5th September to 7th September. All alumni are eligible to attend the conference. A detailed communication on venue, rates, agenda etc will be shared separately. We urge everyone to participate and make it a grand success.
