IIMCAA CC Meeting 5 October 2025

CC MoM – Connections 2026 on 28th February, Saturday | IIMCAA Award Entry Opens in November

Dear IIMCians,

The Central Committee meeting took place at IIMC HQ, New Delhi on 5th October. IIMCAA Executive President Mr. Prabhash Jha presided over the meeting that was attended by former Presidents Ms. Simrat Gulati, Mr. Kalyan Ranjan, Mr. Prasad Sanyal, Vice Presidents Mr. Amimesh Biswas & Ms. Sneha Bhattacharjee, General Secretary Mr. Atul Gupta, Treasurer Ms. Deeksha Saksena, Secretary Ms. Khushi Sharma, Executive Members Mr. Prabhat Pandey, Mr. Kaushal Vishwakarma and Mr. Shankar Pandit.

IIMCAA Care Fund chairman Mr. Nitin Pradhan, IIMCAA Bangladesh General Secretary Ms. Angur Nahar Monty, Lifetime Members Ms. Rashi Bisaria and Mr. Ritesh Verma also joined the CC meeting. It discussed the agenda listed for the meeting and following decisions were taken.

1. Connections 2026 

– Global Meet of Connections 2026 will be hosted in New Delhi on 28th February 2026, Saturday. Venue and timing will be communicated in coming days.

– It will be an invite only event in Delhi like 2025. Event fees for members/ non-members will be communicated in the coming days.

– Event fee to attend chapter meets for members/ non-members will be communicated in coming days.

2. IIMCAA Awards 2026 

– IIMCAA Awards 2026 will be organised. Entries shall open in November giving at least one month time to applicants.

– Separate communications will be issued for IIMCAA Awards 2026.

3. Connections & Awards Officials

– The meeting discussed and approved a list of alumni and industry veterans to approach for various posts with respect to Connections & Awards. Such announcements will be made separately after getting consents. 

4. Budget for Connections & Awards

– The CC has approved a tentative budget of 1.20 Crore rupees to organise all meets and Awards, considering last year cancellations of chapter meets due to shortage of funds.

– Organising all or a few chapter meets depends on meeting the budget target. Chapters contributing in sponsorship campaigns will be prioritised in case of shortage of funds.
