Mindworks is looking for candidates with solid copy-editing experience and knowledge of publishing of not less than two years.
About: At Mindworks, we pioneered the outsourcing of copyediting when we began working with newspapers outside of India.
In a relatively short while, the company was able to develop teams of skilled copy editors who could deliver to global standards. Copyediting is at the very core of our company and is something we take pride in even as we expand our services to include other editorial services.
Skills required: At Mindworks we work with the global publishing industry, offering editing services for newspapers, magazines, books, business documents and more.
- We need copyeditors with excellent grammar and with a particularly meticulous bent of mind.
- The candidate applying for this job should be comfortable working with processes as we use these to optimize workflow and deliver to desired quality standards.
- In particular, experience with editing books would be an advantage as would copyediting in the business domain.
- Additionally and specifically, we need proficiency with the Chicago Manual of Style and with the basic use of Microsoft PowerPoint.
Location: This job is based out of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India and is full time employment.
